Reconstruction of Highway 520 overpass over Highway 13 prompts weekend closures

Transport Quebec says the intersection of Highway 13 and Highway 520 will be closed over the coming weekend.
Officials say the closure is due to the reconstruction of the Highway 520 overpass over Highway 13.
Starting Friday at 8 p.m., the 520 between exit No. 4 and the entrance to the 13 North will be closed. One lane on Highway 13 will be removed until April 17 at 10 p.m.
Starting Saturday at 1 a.m. until Monday at 5 a.m., the following closures will be in effect:
- The service road on Highway 520 eastbound between the entrance to the 13 South and the ramp from the 13 North
- The ramp from the 13 South to the 520 East.
- The ramp from the 520 East to the 13 North
- 23 Avenue northbound, between Louis-A. Amos and Côte-de-Liesse Road eastbound.
Detours will be marked with temporary signage.
Officials say the closure could be postponed due to adverse weather conditions, adding drivers should check Québec 511 before hitting the road.
