Hot start gives way to a grey and wet week in Montreal

After experiencing a stretch of sunny days, Montrealers are once again facing the prospect of a grey and wet weather.

The week starts off with a hot and humid Monday when the daytime high is expected to be 29 Celsius with a humidex of 35 and a low of 19 C. The UV index will be at 8 or very high.

The day will see a mix of sun and cloud getting increasingly cloudy. There is a 60 per cent chance of showers and a risk of a thunderstorm in the afternoon in the afternoon and evening.

Tuesday will be similar with a high 27 C and a 60 per cent chance of showers and risk of thunderstorm in the afternoon. There will be periods of rain at night with a low of 21 C.

Wednesday is also expected to another wet day with showers expected through the day with a high of 25 C and a low of 19 C.

Rain continues into Thursday with a high of 21 C. The evening will see lingering showers and a low of 19 C.

The work wraps up with Friday forecast to have a mix of sun and clouds and a high of 27 C and a cloudy evening at a low of 20 C.  There is a chance of shower.
