Woman in her 60s found dead in a pool on Montreal’s South Shore

A woman in her 60s was found dead in a residential swimming pool Saint-Constant on Montreal’s South Shore Wednesday.

Police were called around 3:45 p.m. reporting a body in the pool at a house located on Vallée Street.

Upon arrival, officers from the Roussillon intermunicipal police confirmed the woman’s death.

An investigation by the coroner is underway to shed light on the circumstances surrounding the death Roussillon intermunicipal police.

As of Friday, there have been 51 drownings in Quebec so far this year compared to 46 deaths by his point last year.
