Quebec adding 13 more COVID deaths to its total, while hospitalizations related to the virus are down by 15 patients.
A total of 933 new infections in the last 24 hours, with 177 tests self-declared by Quebecers who were positive. The overall case numbers likely an undercount as access to PCR tests is limited to specific groups and not everyone self-declare their rapid tests.
The latest data shows the province is dealing with 238 active outbreaks and 3,514 health workers are absent from the system due to the virus.
16,687 fatalities total since the pandemic began: one in the last 24 hours, five added from the last week to the total, and seven deaths added from over seven days ago.
1,520 people being treated in hospital – but 499 of those admitted because of COVID-19 symptoms, the rest tested positive after being hospitalized for other ailments. 213 new entries and 228 discharges.
Of those, 36 in ICU, including 19 specifically for COVID and the rest testing positive after being admitted – up by one with 12 newly admitted and 11 released.

Vaccination rates:
-56 per cent of those eligible have gotten a third dose, with 576 boosters administered in the last 24 hours
-22 per cent of those eligible have gotten a fourth shot, with 5,261 doses of the second booster administered in the last 24 hours
-14K+ doses administered last 24 hours, 21M+ total so far
