Second shooting in downtown Montreal in less than 24 hours

A second shooting in less than 24 hours in downtown Montreal.
This time, an 18-year-old man shot during an altercation between two groups of people Wednesday night.
Authorities were alerted to the incident at Saint-Catherine west and Union at around 10:50 p.m.
Those involved fled on foot and the victim was taken to hospital. He was conscious during transport and his life is not in danger.
No arrests have been made as of yet.

On Wednesday morning, at around 3:15 a.m., a man was shot during an argument at Sainte-Catherine west and Drummond.
In that case, he made his own way to the hospital before police arrived.
Investigations into both shootings are ongoing.
