Quebec summer 2023 with few sunny days: Ouranos

If you had the impression that this summer was less sunny than usual – you’re right.
Quebec had fewer days of sun in the summer of 2023 compared to previous years.
In fact, it was the summer with the least number of sunny days we’ve had since 1950, according to the Ouranos website.
The site reports Montreal saw between 340 and 370 hours of sun in 2023.

On Wednesday it’ll be sunny and we should reach a high of 20 degrees.
For Thursday and Friday, more sun and a high of 22 degrees.
On Saturday we should see increasing cloudiness with a high of 21.
Clouds sticking around for Sunday and there is a 60 per cent chance of showers. High of 19.
