He may not be old enough to drive yet, but he’s obsessed with cars.
His collection consists of over 200 vehicles — miniature ones, also known as Hot Wheels.
Meet 11-year-old Noah Marioscalia who changed gears on Wednesday — checking out life-size cars at the Montreal International Auto Show.
“I’m so excited,” said Marioscalia. “I love cars.”

“I have an electric Audi, an electric Tesla,” explained Marioscalia.
Those –- just some Hot Wheels from his collection that he expected to be on display at the Auto Show.
He did his research — 80 per cent of all the vehicles being showcased this year are hybrid and electric.

Something he didn’t expect though — a surprise from Quebec race car driver, Bertrand Godin.
“Now I give you a challenge,” said Godin who is also a spokesperson for the Montreal Auto Show.
“What kind of car is this?”
“A Corvette,” answered Marioscalia, about the toy car Godin gifted him.
“Your challenge is to find a Corvette here in the Auto Show,” said Godin.

The race was on –- but some pit stops were made along the way –- like checking out Luc Poirier’s Ferrari collection.
“He owns 31 Ferraris,” said Godin. “How many cars do you have in your collection?”
“Over 200,” said Marioscalia.
“You beat him,” answered Godin, jokingly.

“I remember when I was the age of Noah,” said Godin. “Going to the Montreal Auto Show and I was so impressed.”
“To see the car in a real thing,” he added. “To touch it, to sit in it, to feel and smell the new cars, it’s sensation.”
The show, in its 79th edition — all the automotive action unfolding at the Palais des congrès de Montreal.
The show’s three floors –- splattered with the latest car models. From muscle cars to race cars to Marioscalia’s favourite car – the Lamborghini.
“To see the auto show with the eyes of a child,” said Godin. “That’s what I wish to everyone here.”
Fascinated by their mechanics and details –- Marioscalia’s love for cars began around 4 years old.
Now, he’s a car enthusiast, learning about them through YouTube videos.

“I love this car,” said Marioscalia about a Mustang on display at the show. “To start, I love the color, I like red.”
“I love the interior,” he added. “There’s the screen, the new technology.”

After an exclusive tour –- and finding that Corvette on display — this isn’t the finish line for Marioscalia and his collection.
“Many of them,” he said. “I would like to see in my collection in the next years.”
Buckle up Montreal — the Auto Show runs until Jan. 28th.
