Happy Halloween! Celebrate with these spook-tacular Greater Montreal homes & events

It’s the most boo-tiful time of the year!

With Oct. 31 creeping up on us, Halloween décor and events can be seen in and around Montreal, and we’ve listed you some here — aren’t they fang-tastic?

Montreal North

The Witch’s House
5545 Avenue Albert-Duquesne, Montréal-Nord

For nearly 40 years, Patty Smyth and her family have transformed their home into what they call “The Witch’s House.”

And does the name ever give it justice.

“We love to see the kids faces when they come trick or treating,” said Smyth. “We are now getting second generation of trick-or-treaters which is amazing.”

Hundreds are set to visit on Halloween, but anyone who is his brave enough can already visit their setup — usually ready two weeks prior to the big night.

“People love to tell us their stories of how many years they have been coming,” explained Smyth. “Now they are bringing their kids also.”

Every year, the eerie-sistible team collects funds for the CHU Sainte-Justine.

“I love seeing the kids coming and get their candies and run” said Petraccione, laughing. “It’s my pleasure to do something for the neighbourhood.”
