Some rain then sunshine set for Montreal this week as F1 festivities rev up

Montrealers are starting their work week with a chance of showers this afternoon but sunshine is expected to return later this week as Formula 1 festivities begin to rev up in the city.

Increasing cloudiness on Monday morning and the daytime high set to feel like 27°C with the humidex.

Come Tuesday, Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) forecasting more rain that should end near noon, then a mix of sun and cloud with 40 per cent chance of showers. A high of 26°C is expected with the humidex.

Sunny on Wednesday with a high of 25°C.

That sunshine expected to stay for Thursday as the F1 festivities start up — a high of 23°C.

More sunny skies for Friday with the mercury dropping slightly, a daytime high of 21°C forecasted.

Then speed up into the F1 weekend, a mix of sun and cloud with a high of 20°C on Saturday. As for race day, a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 24°C.
