SPVM investigate overnight shooting at Montreal home

Montreal police are investigating after shots were fired at a home in the Côte-des-Neiges—Notre-Dame-de-Grâce borough Friday morning.

The SPVM says officers received a 911 call around 2:50 a.m. about gunfire on Méridian Avenue near Ponsard Avenue.

Police found several bullet holes in the front of the residence when they arrived.

A suspect was reportedly seen firing toward the home before fleeing the area.

No arrests have been made and police say there were no reported injuries.

Investigators, assisted by the K9 unit, are canvassing the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
