Projet Montréal leader releases tax return in commitment to transparency

In a commitment to transparency, Projet Montréal leader Luc Rabouin is releasing his 2024 tax return.

Rabouin believes that the public should be able to trust the politicians they elect, which has been a commitment from Projet Montréal since it was established in 2009 – the party explained in a press release.

“Montrealers have the right to know that the people they elect work for them, and only for them. By releasing my tax return, I want to clearly demonstrate that I have no conflict of interest and that I am committed to exemplary transparency,” said Rabouin.

“Transparency is essential to maintaining trust in public life. It’s a principle I hope to see more widely adopted by the entire political class.”

Rabouin’s 2024 taxes:

  • Gross employment income: $185,585
  • Gross real estate income: $9,936
  • Total net income (after deductions): $177,309

Rabouin is calling on the other party leaders to do the same ahead of the election.
