Montreal could break another temperature record

Montreal could break another temperature record on Wednesday.

The island expected to see 23 degrees, feeling like 28 with the humidex. A mix of sun and clouds and a 40 percent chance of afternoon showers.

This would be the warmest Oct. 26 on record, previously a record 21.5°C in 2012.

Seasonal norms for this time of year are about 10 degrees.

The city also broke a record on Tuesday, with a high of 24.6°C. The temperature record was 23.9°C on Oct. 25, 1963.

Thursday will see a high of 10°C, with more sunshine on the way Friday with 9°C – and 13°C for both Saturday and Sunday.

We could see periods of rain for Halloween on Monday. Environment Canada forecasting 12 degrees as the high and a low of 9.
