A search and rescue operation led by the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) located the four victims of a plane crash, who escaped with only minor injuries.
It happened around 12:15 p.m. in the Montagne du Diable area. Approximately two hours later, the aircraft and its occupants were found by SQ all-terrain vehicle (ATV) patrols, in collaboration with the local fire department.
The pilot and three passengers were evacuated from the aircraft and taken to hospital. The four people suffered “non-life-threatening injuries,” said SQ spokesperson Camille Savoie.
A mechanical failure could be at the origin of this event,” she added. “An investigation is underway. The Transportation Safety Board of Canada has been notified.”
