Montrealers saw grey skies on Tuesday morning as rain is forecasted with a risk of a thunderstorm, but will this gloomy weather remain for the rest of the week and the Thanksgiving long weekend?
Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) is predicting that today will be a wet one for Montreal as showers are expected to begin near noon. About five millimeters of rain should be falling over the city with a daytime high of 23°C — feeling more like 28°C with the humidex.
Come Wednesday though, skies are set to be clearing up — and yes, that is the case for the rest of the week.
ECCC forecasting a chillier day tomorrow with a high of 15°C. Clear skies at night with a low of just 3°C.
Come Thursday, sunny skies with a daytime high of 12°C.
To end the work week and get into the Thanksgiving long weekend, Friday is expected to also be filled with sunshine and 19°C.
Saturday forecasted to be even warmer with a daytime high of 19°C mixed with more sun.
That beautiful weather is trickling into Sunday too with ECCC predicting sunshine and 17°C.
For the Thanksgiving national holiday on Monday, many will be counting their blessings and perhaps the weather will be one of them this year as clear skies are in the forecast for now with a high of 17°C.
