Amber Alert ended after two young boys found safe and sound

Two young children who had been the subject of an Amber Alert Sunday morning have been found, according to authorities in Quebec.

The alert was issued just before 4:30 a.m. by the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) who said the boys, aged 2 and 4, had been abducted from Trois-Rivieres, northeast of Montreal, on Saturday night by a 29-year-old woman.

The alert was cancelled shortly after 8 a.m. when police announced the children had been found “safe and sound” in St-Paulin, in the Mauricie region.
