Sunny skies are giving Quebec’s annual construction holiday a bright start, and Montreal is set to enjoy warm, summer weather before showers return later this week.
Sunday will stay sunny with a high of 24 Celsius. A northwest wind gusting to 40 km/h will become light this evening, with clear skies overnight and a low of 14 C.
Monday is shaping up to be the warmest day of the stretch in Montreal, with plenty of sunshine and a high of 27 C. The humidex will make it feel closer to 30 C during the afternoon.
Clouds begin to increase Monday night before a mostly cloudy Tuesday. Temperatures will remain warm with a high of 26 C, but showers are expected to develop Tuesday night.
If your holiday plans include time outside, it may be worth keeping an umbrella handy. Showers are expected across Montreal on Wednesday, when temperatures cool slightly with a high of 20 C.
The unsettled weather won’t stick around for long. Sunshine returns Thursday with a high of 25 C, followed by a mix of sun and cloud Friday and Saturday with daytime highs climbing back to 27 C.
